Middleton Athletic FC
Middleton Colts Girls were formed in 2003-04.
Season 2009/10 will see Middleton Colts Ladies become Middleton Athletic Ladies. Under the guidence of Barry and Andy managing and some passionate fans running the team . Our future looks positive. Next Season watch out for the new breed our under Twelves side managed by two first team players Shevaughn Hurndall and Chantelle Henshall.
Season 2009/10 was another great season for Middleton’s 1st team. There first season in div 1 they came a creditable runners up and once again reaching the league cup final thats their third final in 3 seasons. Also this season saw the emergence of the under twelves playing in the South Manchester Girls League this was to be a hard season as some girls had never played football before. However under the guidance of Shevy and Channy they all stuck together and improved with each game.
This was not to be Middleton Athletics FC only achievement, as Middleton Athletic FC achieved FA Charter Standard in there first season. To top of a great year Middleton Athletic FC join forces with Mayfield Sports Centre to play all there home games at their stadium in Castleton 2010/11 Season.
With this is the new bunch of under 12s to take up playing football this team will be managed by Shauna hurndall and Chantelle vitler.
Both Under 12s and 13s will be playing in the North Manchester Girls League.
